I Miss Winter Mornings - Illustration process

How delicious it is to wake up on cold mornings and have a delicious hot chocolate or coffee with a couple of buttered toasts, the last days in my city it's too hot and it's been several months now, so many that I really miss feeling cold

I wanted to remember those days and make a refreshing illustration

I put the idea into a small sketchbook in which I have several sketches that are waiting to become an illustration in large sketchbooks

after transferring it to the large notebook with a couple of changes or improvements to the idea, with the same pencil I made the shadows where I thought they would go well

then with a thin layer of watercolor I located the colors without thinking much

with a thicker layer I make more colorful features and put light and light

And finally the pen does its magic. the lineart
