WHATEVER IS COMMITTED TO HIM

“COMMIT YOUR WAY TO THE LORD, trust also in Him, AND HE SHALL BRING IT TO PASS."
Psalm 37:5 (NKJV)

If you wanted to walk with God, you would have to do by faith (Hebrews 11:6). You learn to commit everything to God's hand and allow Him to have his way (1 Peter 5:7).
Note:
• Your plan and scheme of things may not work without God.
• What He has not instructed you to do which you embark upon, or engage in, will not work or succeed.
• It is not only about committing things to His hands; you must be patient enough to wait on Him and allow Him to do whatever you have committed to His hands in His own way and do it at His own time.

The beauty and wisdom of walking with God is submission, being obedient to whatever He wants and whatever He says.
God does not want you to do anything outside of His plan and will for your life. And He would not want to be sidelined.
Your walk with Him, that is, your relationship with Him, cannot be cordial until you are mature and get to the point of waiting on Him for whatever you wanted to do: “SO HE HUMBLED YOU, ALLOWED YOU TO HUNGER, AND FED YOU WITH MANNA WHICH YOU DID NOT KNOW NOR DID YOUR FATHERS KNOW, THAT HE MIGHT MAKE YOU KNOW, THAT MAN SHALL NOT LIVE BY BREAD ALONE; BUT MAN LIVES ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD" (Deuteronomy 8:3 NKJV).

Your attention is needed by God. Whatever escapes your mind to bring to His notice, such will suffer setbacks and it may not succeed.
God's goal in your relationship with Him is to take you to the point that you would not do anything without informing Him:
4 ABIDE IN ME, AND I IN YOU. AS THE BRANCH CANNOT BEAR FRUIT OF ITSELF, UNLESS IT ABIDES IN THE VINE, NEITHER CAN YOU, UNLESS YOU ABIDE IN ME. 5 I AM THE VINE, YOU ARE THE BRANCHES. HE WHO ABIDES IN ME, AND I IN HIM, BEARS MUCH FRUIT; FOR WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING" (John 15:4,5 NKJV).

God wants to be all in all in your life.
He does not want you to do anything without Him: “NOW WHEN ALL THINGS ARE MADE SUBJECT TO HIM [the Son, Jesus Christ], THEN THE SON HIMSELF WILL ALSO BE SUBJECT, to Him who put all things under Him, THAT GOD MAY BE ALL IN ALL" (1 Corinthians 15:28 NKJV).

Have you committed those things you are planning to do in the new year to God's hands?
Has He approved them?
Remember, nothing works without His approval and involvement!

You will not fail in Jesus’ name. Peace!
