MY OWN KIND OF SIMPLE AND EASY RECIPE OF UTAN BISAYA...
Before i start.... I just wanna great all of Steemians here in Steemfood Community a good day this is my second post to share my simple cooking recipe of binisayang utan that all cebuano's and cebuana's surely and truly love it. this is a kind of vegetables soup that will surely give you a fully tummy when you are done eating this even my son loves it he will asking for more and more hehehehehehe........
and my pleasure to share to you what I'm cooking.
so we start to the ingredients of utan bisaya.
ingredients:
- 1 Onion
- 3 stalk of Green Onion
- ¼ slice of whole Pumpkin
- ¼ slice of whole White pumpkin
- 1 Eggplant
- 3 pcs. of Okra
- 6 pcs of string beans
- Malunggay Leaves ( Moringa )
- Malbar Nightshade ( Alugbati )
- Sweet Potato Leaves ( Talbos sa Kamote )
- Seasoning ( Magic Sarap )
- 3 pcs. Fried Fish ( Bilong- Bilong isda)
- Water
the Procedure of UTAN BISAYA :
--put the cauldron in the stove with 1 liter and sit the fire in a enough fire.
-- add the shred fish. first add the yellow pumpkin because it take minutes to soft the yellow pumpkin compared to the other vegetables that easy to soft next add a Onion that slice into 4 slices next add the salt and cover the cauldron and wait 20 minutes to Simmer and to make the yellow pumpkin to soft.
-- Next is add the White Pumpkin follow the String Beans that cut into same size, Okra slice into slanting , Eggplant slice into c cut, and add the Magic Sarap (Seasoning) mix them all until it mix and cover again the cauldron and Simmer for 10 minutes before add the leafy vegetables.
-- before you add the other ingredients taste first if the soup is enough taste if you taste not satisfied just add a salt or a Seasoning.
-- add the Green Onion and Simmer for just 5 minutes.
-- Lastly add the green Leafy vegetables and simmer at least 10 seconds and serve with your families.😊🤤😋
