Recipe for making Asam Sabe Aceh, Indonesia
Asam Sabe tamarind shrimp rebon is a very simple food, but so special for the people of Aceh-Indonesia.
In Aceh, it is called Asam Sabe, this food is made from rebon shrimp, then added with chilies, onions, lime leaves, star fruit and salt, then crushed sufficiently until ready to be served.
Asam Sabe usually used as a side dish, which is usually Asam Sabe eaten with rice. which tastes so delicious, with a sour starfruit taste and the savory taste of rebon shrimp, and a bit spicy, I seem to be able to say this is a very special food, even though the price is cheap but this is really special.
So, therefore in this post I will share a tutorial to make Asam Sabe or tamarind shrimp. The following are the materials that you must prepare:

- 50 grams of Rebon Shrimp (Sabe)
- 5 star fruit wuluh
- 10 pieces of cayenne pepper, or can be adjusted according to your taste
- Lime leaves as needed
- Salt as needed
- Red onion to taste

- The first thing we have to do is boil the dried shrimp (sabe) until the water boils, then drain it
- Chop shallots, cayenne pepper, star fruit and lime leaves
- Then the next step we have to do is knead all the ingredients starting from dried shrimp, cayenne pepper, shallots, star fruit and lime leaves, and don't forget to add salt as needed.
