PLEASE NOTE, THE OUTCOME IS NOT AS BEAUTIFUL AS THE BEGINING LOOKS😑😶

Good evening @steemfoods community.
Good evening my dear steemit chefs.

I am Tega Churchill and i come from Delta state, Nigeria. This is my first post to @steemfoods community.

There are several delicious native delicacies over here in Nigeria with numerous health benefits. My dad is from the south-southern part of Nigeria, Delta state to be precise while my mom is from the easthern part of the country, Enugu state to be precise. They are both known for numerous mouth watering meals.

Today, I will be showing steps on how I prepared Okpa made from bambara nuts which is an eastern delicacy. Although I dithe comment sectiond have an issue with it, I dont know why, but it didnt come out right. This is not the first time I'm preparing this meal, It's the second time....i dont know what i did wrong so please let me know what you think in

Bambara nuts are rich in numerous nutrients which include: Vitamin A, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin and carotene, trace amounts of vitamin C . The seeds also contain micronutrients such as zinc, calcium, iron and potassium, but have trace quantities of phosphorus and magnesium.

Okpa as a meal heps in the maintenance of fluid balance, contribution to immune functions and production of enzymes and hormones.

Okpa can be enjoyed as a snack or eaten for breakfast together with pap, custard or oats.

  2. Palm oil
  3. Salt to taste
    Other ingredients, not primarily necessary:

Me and those ingredients👀👀

How I prepared okpa

  1. I placed my bambara nuts powder (flour) in a clean bowl

  1. I then added lukewarm water to the mixture, using my hand to stir and melt all the seedy moulds in the mixture

The entire mixture should'nt be too thick, neither should it be too watery. If its too thick, it will become really strong afterwards.

  1. I then began to add all other ingredients; pepper, salt, seasoning cubes, crayfish and onion

  1. Then I began to pour the mixture into small leather bags so they can steam. Meanwhile, I already had hot boiling water on the fire waiting.

  1. I added them carefully into the hot water

The okpa was supposed to be ready after an hour or 45 minutes.
After 45 minutes, I checked it and it looked like
