How to Prepare Sauted Water Spinach || "Ginisang Kang-Kong"
Hello @SteemFoods community! How have you been? Today, I wanna share with you again my simple recipe. The Sauted Water Spinach or what you called as Ginisang Kang-Kong in filipino. Kang-Kong is commonly grows in water or can be found in moist soil.
There are lots of vitamins and minerals that we can get from this plant, such us magnesium, iron, calcium and etc. It is has also a large presence of antioxidant and dietary fiber. Water spinach can help our bones stronger and even strengthens our teeth.
Ingredients:
- Oil
- Garlic
- Onion
- Water spinach (include the stem)
- Soy sauce
- 1/4 of Magic sarap
So? Let's start cooking!
- First, heat oil in the pot. After heating the oil, start putting the garlic first until it became golden brawn, then add the onion. Saute the garlic and onion until smells aromatic.
- Then, after sauteing the garlic and onion, let's put first the stem of the water spinach and mix it.
- After the stem is getting soft, let's add a little soy sauce. The soy sauce makes your food tasty.
- Now, let's put the main recipe the leaves of the water spinach, mix it thoroughly until the water spinach will shrink. After that, let's add 1/4 sachet of magic sarap and mix it.
