How to make egusi soup recipe with pumpkin leave //By @yakspeace
Happy Easter my people.
Today I'm going to share with you guys how to prepare Nigeria egusi soup with pumpkin leave.
Ingredients
- pumpkin leave
- Goat meat
- 2cups of egusi (melon)
- 1tea spoon of salt
- 5 cubes of Maggi
- 1 onion
- pepper
- Crayfish
- pumu
- stock fish
- Palm oil
All my ingredients.
My cut-off pumpkin leave, granded egusi and my granded pepper mixed with onions.
PROCEDURE
Step 1: put your washed Goat meat, stock fish, and pumu into a clean pot, then add slice onions, Maggi, salt, power Ginger and add small quantity of water then set your fire, place the pot on a medium heat, and allow it to cook for few minutes, Then pour it into a clean bolw.

Step 2: put back the pot on the fire then add the Palm oil into the pot allow it to heat for a minutes then add your granded pepper mixed with onion and fry it well.
Step 3: Add your granded egusi into the mixture then stir it for few minutes until the egusi is well fried.
Step 4: Now add the boiled meat, stock fish, pumu and the water you used to boil the stock into the mixture and stir, then allow it to cook for few minutes.
Step 5: Add the Crayfish into the mixture.
Note
you can grand your Crayfish if you want but I love using my Crayfish this way.
Step 6: Add the cut-up pumpkin leave into the mixture.
Step 7: Lastly, add your seasoning then allow it to cook for few minutes.
My egusi soup is ready 💃💃💃
CONCLUSIONS
With these seven steps I believe you can make your egusi soup with no stress.
