When you hear the name of Sylhet, the first place that comes to your mind is Jaflong. Surrounded by the natural beauty, this place is like a piece of heaven hidden in the heart of Bangladesh. The magical mix of mountains, rivers, rocks and greenery in Jaflong has created an environment where the mind calms down by itself. Standing here away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it seems that nature has stripped away all its beauty.Jaflong's appearance becomes completely different when the morning light comes. The mist-covered mountains gradually became visible, the soft sunlight shimmering on the river water.

The boat floats on the crystal clear waters of the Pine River, and you can't tell when the time passes by watching the scene. Standing on the banks of the river and taking a deep breath in the cold air seems to melt away all the fatigue.The most interesting aspect of Jaflong is the stone kingdom. The large and small stones scattered on the river bed create a unique beauty. Local laborers make a living by collecting these stones. Seeing the scene of their work, one can understand how deep the relationship between man and nature is. The stone picking scene gives a real picture of Jaflong's life.

The range of hills here is particularly striking. India's Meghalaya mountains can be seen very closely. From a distance it looks like the hills are covered with a green carpet. Sometimes the waterfall comes down the hill, which makes the whole environment more charming. During the monsoons, these springs become more lively and the scenery multiplies.The beauty of the tea gardens also makes a trip to Jaflong more memorable. Seeing the rows of green tea trees spread around seems like drowning in a sea of green. The busyness of the workers, the smell of tea leaves and the natural environment create a different feeling. For those who love nature, this scene is really amazing.

The local market of Jaflong also has a distinct attraction. Here you can find mountain fruits, various handicrafts made of bamboo, and local food. Especially the taste of pineapple, orange and mountain lemon cannot be forgotten once eaten. A visit to the small shops gives a touch of local culture, which makes the trip more lively.Jaflong is not less in terms of food. Fresh river fish, native chicken and bharta-The village food made of bhaji attracts tourists quite a lot. The taste is doubled by eating such food sitting in the middle of nature. Even ordinary food seems extraordinary.

During the afternoon, Jaflong's appearance changes again. As the sun slowly sinks behind the mountains, a reddish-orange glow spreads across the sky. The reflection of that color in the water of the river creates an unearthly sight. Many people get busy taking pictures during this time, because these moments are really worth capturing on cameraJaflong at night is also quite quiet and mysterious. The silence all around, the gentle sound of the river in the distance and the cool breeze gives a kind of peace to the mind. Such a calm environment is rarely found in the busy life of the city. So spending a night here refreshes both mind and body.
