Application for Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 16 - Steem Lens Community
Dear Steemit Team.
We from the Steem Lens Community came with the aim of creating an application for the Steemit Engagement Challenge - Season 16. Everyone knows that it is very important to compete with the aim of knowing which one is better for the community in this great event, so we will participate today. Although this community has only entered 2 months from its establishment on January 1, 2024, we are very enthusiastic in showing our strength here to introduce the wider macro world, because from seasons 1-16 there has not been a single community that focuses on it, so we really hope to be able to be a new change with an interesting theme to discuss. There's no harm in trying, rather than never doing it at all.
Here is a breakdown of the Steem Lens community, on why this community should be a worthy community as a participant of this Steemit Engagement Challenge - Season 16.
After we searched, there was no single community on Steemit that specifically discussed sharing macro photography, so many of them shared it in various communities. It was from this background that led us to establish the Steem Lens community with the intention of uniting macro photography lovers around the world. Not only that, we still have many goals such as:
Form a place to share good knowledge and experience about macro photography. It will gather great steemians around the world and they will share their experiences about macro photography.
As a place that encourages the creativity of steemians. Steem Lens really hopes to be a place of inspiration and encourage creativity for all Steemit users in the world.
We realize that all of one's work should be valued, so it is not solely focused on the methods or experience, as well as the technicalities of macro photography, but we really hope that the presence of this community will truly change Steemit users' awareness of one's work.
This community sincerely hopes to become a familiar global network for macro photography lovers.
The Steem Lens community was founded due to the rapid enthusiasm of various groups of photography lovers, especially those who focus on the macro realm who want a place specifically for publishing macro photography works which should increase other people's knowledge and increase their experience. We hope that all members of the community of nature photography lovers who are crazy about the beauty and complexity of the world, which often escapes the attention of the human eye, will gather and share their work here and interact with each other.
So the admin and several moderators after communicating with each other and asking for advice from senior disteemit to establish this community at the beginning of the new year. Precisely on January 1 2024, this community was present with a big goal, and finally received a welcome from the Steemit team. Our hope will be a good community and will bring good change to fellow steemians.

The official and curated community account of the Steem Lens community is @steemlens. Currently the account already has Effective Power of 5,906.07 SP, which is the result of Steem Power itself and the result of Delegates. This account will definitely always be used to support loyal users in the community, not only that, we also strongly support users both on blogs and in the community, as long as the posts are quality and have benefits for many people.
As for the community account key, for the time being it is still controlled by two admins, namely @walictd and @cymolan. Maybe at any time it will change due to common goals and needs. This is done with the intention of avoiding unwanted things that are not good.
We know that all Admins and Moderators in each community will always try to welcome, review and verify every post that has been published in their respective communities. The Steem Lens community will also do the same, such as welcoming, reviewing, providing direction and verifying every post that enters the community as well as possible.

Some users would love to see a different theme so that they don't get bored with the same old thing. The combination of unique macro photos and interesting writing will make a very high quality post. How beautiful is the macro world that people rarely see, because generally we only see what can be seen directly with the eyes. Perhaps with the election of this community, there will be interesting and creative posts because Steemit users publish good macro photos and quality explanations to the whole world. They will know and recognize the details of macro objects that are rarely found or even never seen in their own country.
