Steemit Challenge Season 29 Application - Exploring the World Through Photography

Dear Steemit Team,
Steem Atlas now serves as a global documentation of real locations based on the direct experiences of users. Therefore, the documentation from Steem Atlas posts is an interesting source of information for discovering new locations, helping others find new and interesting places. Steem Atlas posts are not just vacation photos, but also a source of information for everyone, providing insight into local culture and offering a closer and more personal perspective on the world.
So, from there, we need to know that many users are confused about:
- How to take good and proper photos of beautiful places?
- How to combine useful information with photo aesthetics?
On this occasion, we propose a 6-week educational challenge where participants will focus primarily on learning the steps to photograph locations correctly and in accordance with the characteristics of the place. Participants will also create high-quality Steem-atlas posts.
This challenge is expected to not only encourage creativity and outdoor activities, but also enrich the Steem Atlas map globally, as well as increase the visual and informational value of Steemit content.
Therefore, I, @walictd, together with my close friend @cymolan, are applying to participate in Steemit Challenge Season 29 with the theme: Explore & Capture Places for Steem Atlas.
Every week, participants will learn “How to Photograph...” specific types of places.
Participants must visit the location in person; they are not allowed to use old photos or photos from the internet.
Each participant's post must meet the applicable Steem Atlas standards as follows:
- Original photos owned by participants
- Photos taken directly at the location
- A selfie as proof of attendance
- A video with a minimum duration of 1 minute would also be appreciated
- Google Maps link to the location + Steem Atlas pin
- Stories and information about the place

| Experience | : | I am @cymolan from Indonesia. I learned about the Steemit platform in April 2022, and began exploring it in depth a few months later. The support from the Steemit team has made me increasingly enthusiastic and consistently active here. After a year on the Steemit platform, I began to develop a little and got to know some seniors in this field to participate in several activities such as distributing Steemamal to residents affected by disasters. This not only added to my experience but also allowed me to meet new people through this platform, especially in Indonesia. I have been a community curator several times, including this November. |
