Hi fellow macro photography lovers, hearing this community's welcome by great people makes me more confident and enthusiastic about my hobby of photography, especially macro photography. In this first post, I will show several unique and interesting pictures of an insect standing on a leaf.

The insect was enjoying the delicious leaves, so he didn't realize that I had taken his photo. I took not just one photo, but many, but I deleted some because they were out of focus and not good enough.

I looked up the name of this insect on the internet, because where I live I just call it a pest. Finally I found the name of the insect with the help of Google Lens. On Wikipedia, the name of this insect is Criocerinae which is a subfamily of leaf beetles.

The characteristics of this insect are that it has 6 legs (the same as most insects), the size is not too big and not too small, but is the size of a pepper but the shape is oval, while the color is orange mixed with black. Then he had 2 beards on his head.

Here are pictures of these insects:

The tools I used to take this image are:

  • Gadget: Redmi Note 9 Pro with 64 MP main camera
The bigger the mega pixels on your gadget camera, the better the photos you get.
  • Macro lens: APEXEL
    image.pngAPEXEL is a macro lens
This macro lens functions to help the camera on our gadget to maximize focus on the small pictures we take.
  • Application: Google Photos
There are lots of applications to beautify images, one of which is Google Photo.

The place where the picture was taken was in a park around where I live, namely in Aceh, Indonesia. Actually, when I took photos in a forest park, I was not alone but invited my loyal friend, namely @cymolan. Because at that time we were on holiday with nothing else to do, so we maximized this time for our hobby of photography.

I invite you to support @pennsif.witness for growth across the whole platform through robust communication at all levels and targeted high-yield developments with the resources available.

Que buenas imágenes del insecto! Quedaron muy bien, es increíble como nos perdemos la belleza de la naturaleza, incluso si es un bicho común se ve increíble.
