Refreshing............. NW Cascade Wanderings

Refreshing…..I would love to go to this place which is close by, and just sit on a bench or lounge chair and just soak up the peaceful, refreshing serenity this has to offer. Unfortunately time constraints and weather don’t make it possible for now. 😔

Work was crazy today! Between just a lot of walk in traffic as well as scheduled patients, plus people who couldn’t give their name as given by insurance, and a language barrier as well, plus screaming, and I do mean screaming children; you know the kind of ear piercing scream that leaves you longing for earplugs 😏-well let’s just say it was a trying day at best. I’m thinking about the first picture and how much I’d rather be there than go back to work tomorrow. 😣

Now, a few from our chilly trip to the bay earlier this week.

This picture is from what I might call the lagoon just before the estuary that dumps into the ocean. It looks golden to me because of the sun refracting through the water and the pieces of shells scattered everywhere on the bottom. Then, it changes and still in the freshwater portion, you can see some seaweed and sea grass growing in the brackish waters.

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! It will be quite busy with both left over work from today and tomorrow’s full docket.
