My country's special day of remembrance"
January 15 has never escaped my mind, this is the first special day that I was able to think of. January 15th in my country, Nigeria is a special remembrance day for the armed forces. Many soldiers lost their lives in war, like world war 1 and II, and also the Nigerian civil war. On this day the Biafran troops in Nigeria surrendered which marked the end of the civil war.

During the event, many key things are done
Military Parade: this is done every armed forces day, the military showcases their parade en mass which shows the unity and their strength.
wreath-laying ceremony: The top officials which includes government authorities, vice president and the president lay wreaths in front of the statue of unknown statue.
Special Prayers: these prayers are made to the soldiers.
