Some things just make you stop in your tracks, no matter how many times you encounter them!☺️
Yesterday as the Mrs and Silvertop were headed back to our parked car, Silvertop glanced over at the Bellingham Cruise Terminal………………..
Most days the “Slips” are completely empty. The Alaskan ferry only docks here on Wednesday’s, and Liz works on Wednesday. It seems like we will never be down by the Bay when this ship is in port!🙄
That’s when at a distance, I saw several very tall mast, along the side of the Cruise Terminal!☺️

We were headed home, but this ship is floating history, we made a detour to check it out!😊
The fresh smell of teak oil, filled the air!
A plaque stamp 1924 was proudly displayed at the base of the front mast!
This is what you call a labor of love……..
Keeping this ship in pristine condition on the water for one hundred years, truly amazing!👍
Several other more modern dinner cruise ships encircled the Zodiac.

Standing next to a “ Life Ring “ it made you aware of how unforgiving the Ocean can be.
Just imagine, being one of the original owners from the wealthy Johnson and Johnson pharmaceutical company, traveling around the world on this Schooner on the “ High Seas! “🤗
