“Ski to Sea!”🤗
Most side roads were barricaded on Silvertops way home from Church this morning !🤔
A local Policeman was directing auto traffic on and off the main road on a very limited basis!😲
“Silvertop we need to take the backroads home today, it’s “Ski to Sea” today!”🥰
This is our local end of Ski season team relay race from Mt Baker to Bellingham bay!

Biking from Mt Baker……41 miles
Then Canoeing for 18.5 miles…….
Cycle cross for another 13 miles, and finally 5 miles by Kayak to the finish in Bellingham bay🤗
Silvertop was tired just watching, I certainly hope everyone was counting their @actifit steps!😇

Some years the weather is rainy, but today’s was outstanding for this race!😎
By the time the bikers on the first leg of this race passed where Silvertop took these photos, they had traveled 40 miles……….
So many looked tired!😅
One more mile to the Nooksack river and they pick up with Canoeing!😊
Following the backroads to avoid crossing the racers we finally made it home!

Absolutely honey, not exactly “Ski to Sea”, just our little slice of these beautiful mountains!😊
