Although, until now I -personally- didn't feel this was necessary, but I welcome this as a very pleasant development, it will be like when we embed YouTube links. And thank you for making gifs work in SteemPro.
Thank you for the feedback, Some communities focus sharing Steem post on X. This feature will definitely help them get check for real share and tweet engagement.
