I’ll need to check what it was and I changed my keys straight after since it was a site that was built by a user now on Hive. It cost 10 SBD to submit. It was something like steemproposals.com.
Ok, if I submit through that I think I still have Steem Keychain installed on one computer and I will see if that will still work so it will shield my keys. Thanks. Makes it more expensive since SBD is pumped to $4.85
I’m paranoid when it comes to keys so even with keychain I’d be tempted to change them!
It might be worth running your idea past a couple of witnesses before submitting it to get an indication if they’ll support it. I know there’s been a lot of discussion behind the scenes about mine (and the DAO in general) which got mine to where it is.
SBD was around $4 when I submitted mine - I’d been thinking and talking about doing it for a long time so decided to risk it and the risk’s been worth it!
I'm glad to see yours got passed and the fact we are utilizing the DAO again. Personally mine is a wildcard and I'm going to submit a similar thing on Blurt and HIVE as well. All three platforms could all benefit from this promotion. I will probably take my chances with it and try to get it approved.
I know what you mean when it comes to the keys as well. I always worry about something getting compromised as well. Currently I don't have a ton stacked in any of these platforms but what I usually do is rotate some into them later in the cycle when prices have gone up on these and then I'm able to earn more yield.
I see your proposal got past the return proposal but are you getting the intended payout? I checked your wallet and doesn't seem like the 30 SBD is flowing in each day?
