How about an update that includes badges for Top Author, Most Voted, Comment Receiver Post of the Day?

Nice idea - to give people a bit of a bump. We'd need to think of a way that it can't be "gamed / abused" so might need other categories but the idea of introducing some sort of gamification could work well to give people a non-monetary target.
