No, I haven't tried. Because currently, there's no need to create an account. But in my opinion, the method respected Steemchiller mentioned, the recovery account will show the same account from which the key was generated. And everyone will think that the new account created is yours.
Like my user name is shown as a recovery account in my wife's account details.
I recently noticed that a community (CCC) set me as a recovery account.
I wonder when that happened. Also I never had the keys except for a posting key.
If it comes to being the recovery account:
SC01 seems to be the recovery account for many accounts these days. Does this mean SC01 is farming?
I have more than one account and many old Steemians have that. I don't see any wrong in it, also not in helping others to start one.
Isn't that also what the SR from Indonesia do if they help opening accounts or does the issue never occur in Bangladesh and Indonesia?
I already had it as I opened my account.
Only the second with Partiko went without issues (I believe there's a 3rd one .leo I never used 🤔).
Setting a new recovery is also an endless story or is it impossible?
The creator of an account automatically will be set as the recovery account, but this doesn't mean the new account is owned by the creator. That would mean sc01 and justyy own thousands of accounts, which is not true, of course. The recovery account does not necessarily have the private keys for the accounts he created. For recovering an account, the recovery account does not need to know the keys of the account to be recovered.

No, as I explained above, sc01 just was the creator of the account (passively), which is the case when creating a new account via steemit.com nowadays. I guess the logic was changed to use sc01 instead of "steem" to easen the process of recovering an account without having access to the private active key of "steem".

Yes, there is nothing wrong with owning multiple accounts. Almost all witnesses have multiple accounts too. It sometimes also makes sense for security reasons to manage assets for a specific service in a different account.

It is possible, but it should only be done if the owner of the account knows what he is doing. For example, you should not set sc01 as recovery account for an account you yourself created, because the account recovery feature on steemit.com will not work/allow recovering an unknown account in most cases.
Thank you for explaining. I just noticed my RC is low (wondered why) but next saw I have 2 more tickets so I can help some today.
I asked about the recovery because my other account still had partiko set for recovery and it took very long to change it (I asked help). I just noticed it's steem now.
Thank you for your answer.
I just tried steemworld.org and it worked.
I will see what the link you gave leads me to.
@rashid001 did you try this?
