Renting means delegating or paying (loss of Steem for you)?

You never feel sad if your upvotes bring you nothing since that is what investing is about.

I understand activity is needed.

    Well, if I adopt a trading mindset, renting involves making a payment to access higher SP.
    In the immediate term, I lose an amount, but so far I am seeing that it can be recovered considerably. I do not regret having rented SP.
