ᔕᑕᗷ Week Chit-Chat (26/10 - 27/10/24) Out - Back in Time
The passed week went by fast and it was exhausting. Family time it was so we went to see Moulin Rouge in the theatre (girls only). It was at time a painful experience painful as in: lack of story, lack of acting and lack of singing talent so one daughter and I tried to focus on the choreography (good) but kept wondering about the bad mix of songs (partly Dutch, partly English). Disappointed we left. The atmosphere wasn't good enough to cover this unpleasant theatre surprise. If on TV we would have zapped unless we were writing a critic.
Musicals like these are a great source of income and never ending. Year after year they say this is the last show. Those who watched the film might not notice the huge difference or bad vocals but we did since we watch with different eyes.
Next day it was back into the future. By now a Dutch international event where 'fighting' groups from Germany, Italy, England, Luxembourgh, Canada were present. It was a bit unclear who played for Spain, the ones that would be beaten upin the end. Ler's call it Liberty Day (free from Spanish rulers, whose next..)
And... Haunted mansions were on the menu plus I visited a Dino park (gaming) which was cool but the hlasses made it hard for my eyes to focus so I had to close them to see better (closing your eyes is resetting vision did you know that?).
Today it's avery cold, windy day and it's hard to believe not even 24 hours ago it was "summer" out of the blue. Snow is foresaid so let's see if it's true.
I wish you all a great week. I will slowly go back into sleeping mode it's a part of colder weather and the only way to save energy and keep warm. Temp on earth raising? I don't know where but not here.
Like always I end with a song.
Diamonds are a girl's best friend!
You will hear it in the musical Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1949) sang by Carol Channing (not the best voice but it fits great to the musical lile it does to 'Moulin Rouge'.
P. S. We also watched the film Moulin Rouge on Saturday and it was better and way cheaper than the theatre show. I plan to watch the one out of the 50s which is more likely my taste.

@jiya99 @tezzmax @saintkelvin17 @marito74 how was your week?
Interesting experience to share. Did you mean my weekend or week?
My weekend was really fast as it has always been but at least I didn't regret it about it. On Saturday morning I went to the church to organize my boys in cleanup and some rehearsals we do as altar servers in the catholic church as I have been their president for 3 years now and next year July is when my tenure is ending so i need to continue to be more active till next election.
Most times when we are done for the day we normally play football but I wasn't in the mood that day because I had so many unfinished business online and I went to the house to continue them.
On Sunday morning I went to the church and immediately after the last mass for that day we had a meeting whereby alot of things were talked about, the boys paid their monthly dues and also uniform default for those that didn't wear their uniform, the total amount of them isn't up to a steem.
The meeting ended successfully and I gave the money we got from members, to our treasurer before we all went home. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures because I was charging my phone in the church till the meeting ended. It was just a very fast weekend.
It doesn't sound like a fast weekend but above all a busy one. Do you ever rest? It's the first time I hear one can be a president in church. Is it important to be one? All those elections and next all those things you have to do Steemit included. I hope you won't suffer from a burnout at the time you achieved it all.
You can also share your week if you like or a song or film. The choice is yours.
I wish you a great week ahead. Take it easy!
Yes a very busy weekend. Am not actually a president of the entire church, our church has alot of association with massive members in each of them so I have been the president in one of them since July 2021, it hasn't been easy for me but I guess am fine.
I hope so too, am not always lucky, I just need to work hard most times so that I don't find myself below but close to the top. 🤧
Are you sick. It might be interesting to write down what benefits you and how to do what is needed in a more efficient way (delegating is a good start).
It's weekend again.
🍀♥️
Benefits of which thing?
What benefits you is personal. Money, time, more sleep, peace of mind...
Yeah these things benefits me alot especially time and money.
Hey, I would have loved to accompany them and thus recreate, rest a little, honestly I feel exhausted, I have worked full but it pays off. I have teenage children, we receive visitors at home on the weekend, they get together for homework, fun and joy invades, the kids put that enthusiasm.
I enjoy this stage with them, you know what...for this island a lot of heat, I would like some of that cold, chocolate and Moulin Rouge haha, a hug, see you soon.
I can send you chocolate if you send me a better temp preferably without flies. Winter hasn't even started and by now it's colder inside the house than it is outside.
At least the youngest is back home and next week school starts again which will be good for a bad mood (I hope not) with all the new rules and the fact she won't learn much.
No teenagers here only young adults. I can't say I miss it and we all love the quiet life at home without noise and stress.
Try to find a bit of rest, a bit more sleep and do something you like that gives you energy (if that's sleeping so be it, it's what the doctor told my youngest).
A big hug for you and some Moulin Rouge...
My week was beautiful and yours?
