RE: You Are Blocked - like other bots
As I said to you, IP addresses from the Netherlands should not be blocked.
However, it may be that your IP address is in an address range from which suspicious requests have been sent. I already offered to let me know your IP address (private) ... or the first two octets. Then I will check whether your IP address is in a blocked range.
Unfortunately, I also had to block some IP address ranges because I received a large number of requests that clearly could not have come from users. Due to these numerous requests, many real users were no longer able to access the site.
If there is a problem with my site, you know how to contact me.
how come a certain person comes to mind right now who promised to make a copy of Steemit and all the accounts' info included?
Who promised that?

I hope this scenario doesn't come to pass. Although there are signs of a grim future.
It's not just NL but also: Cuba, Venezuela, and many others who are blocked. Can is be your site (and steemit.com) blocks everyone with a slow(er) connection?
Remember: punicwax? I had a very interesting chat with the owner and what is planned.
IP: 143.179 (right now can be it changes like many providers do with us) - this one is Odido but the VPN has the same issues except I go for America or Japan.
Check my link and you know how I solved my problem.
Thanks for stopping by and trying.

No. I don't think that's possible.
Puniwax? I haven't heard anything really meaningful from him so far. I only see the superfluous comments. I also don't know who the owner is.
You mean steemistry.com? Seems to be another fork of the condenser. So it is good to have some alternatives. But do you know, who runs the site? As I know the domain was owned by an user, who is no longer active.

Are the servers too busy? There must be a reason for not being able to enter and next all the errors
I bought the domain so it's me.
If I have more time I will see if I can find the owner since she (more likely a group) spoke several times with me as they just started and later on as well. Of cource I have a tech phobia because I don't like these comments.
Phobia the word people say because they have no explaination or can't win the discussion.

I created my version for exactly the same reason. I simply wanted to use my own platform. Perhaps a little more reliable and with the latest changes.
Exactly! I had received feedback from other users that the site was no longer accessible or was reporting errors. I realised that I was receiving up to 1 million unique visitors and several million requests per day at times. The pattern of the requests made it clear that they could not be coming from human users. Many of the requests came from Singapore and Latin America. You probably followed this on the witness channel. To stop the requests initially, I had to block certain countries. Unfortunately, this also affects 'normal' users.
Currently, I have about 300K users and have received around 9 million requests in the last 24 hours. My server can handle this. Even though I know that most of the traffic is generated by bots, there is currently no need for action. But I have to keep an eye on it.
I suspect that your site will also receive such requests soon if it is accessible for a while and becomes better known...

Very interesting, thanks for the links.
An own blockchain... I already thought about it and have already received enquiries about this. Sure, you could implement a lot more of your own rules there than would (perhaps) be possible on Steem, but at the moment I don't have the resources for that.
A super creative day/week
