No Emotions

The room exists without asking anything from me. Light touches surfaces and moves on. Thoughts line up like objects on a shelf. Nothing inside reacts to their presence.

Time passes in measured units without weight.
Breathing continues as a function, not a signal.
The body performs what it has learned to do.
Meaning is optional and therefore absent.

Voices arrive as sound, then leave as silence.
Memories register without pulling attention.
Events occur without resistance or welcome.
The moment completes itself without comment.

There is no tension between before and after.
Expectation has been set aside.
What remains is neutral awareness.
The day ends because it reaches its limit.
