Winning With Steem: Simple strategy to reaching a 100,000 SP
GREETINGS
Hi esteemed and greatly loved STEEMians. Greetings of the moment to you all. I am super excited to be a part of this great chain.
INTRODUCTION
Some days back I was reading through a post by @psicoparedes and I will like to recap his words. He said “…. since it is the one that makes you part of our mission and our goal of growing all together and reaching the goal of 100,000 SP.”
I am super excited with this plan of taking STEEM to its highest altitude. I can already see a blockchain that is striving to reach the same height with a blockchain like ETH and BTC. It is very important therefore to understand the technical areas we should focus on in such a time as this in order for us to be able to achieve the fit we are aiming.
A long time ago, I learnt that when purpose is not understood, abuse becomes difficult to overcome. I am personally very excited because the vision has been clearly communicated to us lest anyone say they were not told.
STEEM has becoming a focal point to many other chains by efforts of one man’s and he didn’t just stop there but gave each and every one of us the opportunity to build STEEM alongside with him and I count it a rare privilege. Many hive users still believe that Justine Sun is using us to build his dreams and actually I just want to see it from another plain that what this man is doing is to empower every STEEM user for financial liberty in future.
In the second paragraph of this publication, I talked about understanding the technical areas we need to fix our gaze on in order to be able to meet STEEM goals collectively.
Simple strategy to reaching a 100,000 SP
It will all begin when we starting being positive. We have to understand that STEEM is not draining, taking or exerting anything from us but rather building us. Personally, I have learnt mind blowing things I never knew before joining STEEM. Most especially from the @SteemitCryptoAcademy, some months ago I was just a novice just as anyone out there who is still yet to join STEEM. The information’s I have gotten from STEEM have actually being of great help to me even at work which has nothing to do with blockchain.
When I was a kid, there was is this norm my mum liked using on us and it helped us big time when it comes to giving. She would say “buy the word but sell it not” meaning that even when it cost you a fortune to acquire whatever skill it is, it shouldn’t sell it but rather learn to offer a helping hand without seeking for gain. With much learning acquired from @SteemitCryptoAcademy about the world of cryptocurrency, I can now give some technical advice to friends who want to join the crypto sphere either as trader or investor.
So I am going to take a little time to explain some strategies I have gathered so far in my engaging STEEM blockchain. Let’s call them schemes that attracts reward.
1. Engagement
Well, I will like to remind many of us who might have forgotten that STEEM blockchain is social media blockchain. So when we say that a place a social it means that what is esteemed the highest in such a place is participation. if it doesn't promote participation and engagement then it is not a social media. Unfortunately, a lot of people know know STEEM to be a place where you just write content and make money and forget about the fact that it is supposed to first of all build participation, engagement, commitment and consistency.
The fun in STEEM is in participation. I remember the first time someone commented on my post here on steem... Oh! my God, I felt like I was the best author on STEEM and the reward that came with that post was more than what I have been getting from other posts.
Every time someone comments on my post, I instantly increase the fan base of the person and seek to know more about the person. You see sometimes I know the values of a man by the things he likes.
Let us not also forget that STEEM is not just interested in making us financially free, it also seek to unlock the hidden deposit in us. Learning is continuous and I suppose steem to be a great platform for learning beyond covers.
2. Be Consistent
I heard of a girl that after making a dozen post with reward stop using STEEM because for her, she thought that STEEM was punishing people meanwhile weeks back, the user had a mind blowing reward for a careless post she made and that helped her to fix her PC but after that she became quickly discouraged.
Consistency better a persons performance but then lots of users here especially users from Nigeria doesn't understand the place of patiently continuing. I have come to settle with the realization that nothing good comes very easy.

Sometime ago, I was reading a post by @dobartim what I would call his success story and one of the places that got me hocked was when he said that I literally was posting for couple of months without getting no reward, just then while others were enjoying airdrops from Hive, he wasn't getting nothing just because he was against the idea of the hard fork.
I wouldn't know what he saw in STEEM that built up so much confidence in him but what ever it is, I am surely coveting it earnestly. I am kind of emotional sometimes because I feel that every effort should be rewarded and every time I see not getting rewards for their hard work, I feel emotional more like crying. I feel for you Sir @dobartim.
3. Be Original (Shun Plagiarism)
There is one usually that stands against our acceptability and value. That is low confidence in yourself. I learnt this a long time ago that it is possible for a reader to discern the confidence of the writer. A man said “if I don’t enjoy myself while writing about a subject, then my readers will likewise not enjoy reading my piece because I never enjoyed writing about it in the first place. Original contents will always epitomize confidence and certainty either it is a fiction or a real time situation. Originality exempt a writer amidst others.
Just as the appearance of a person tells the public who he is, so does our writing do. Beyond the letters, there is always a sense of conviction in the heart of someone reading your work that tells him or her that what you are writing is borne out of experience. You can’t be playing oblivious of the fact that you are not original when you are truly not original. One of the primary motive of STEEM I have perceived is that it seeks to unlock the untapped deposit in man.
4. Pay attention to every single rules
I once heard a renowned speaking addressing people about how to go about life if they desire the most out of life and he made mention of something very powerful. The Rule of Engagement.
Now, the rule of engagement simply talks about making sure that all that there is given as a rule in your field of engagement or values you need to uphold in order to be successful in your dealing with the organization is held high. I mean in high sanctity. When I started participating in contests on STEEM, I had this challenge of not winning and the reason was simple. I was following all the rules that bonds the contest.
Why many people fail here is not because they don't create good content rather it because they do not pay attention to details and rules.
Some years back I read a story about three friends that attended a conference in Las Vegas and after one of the sessions, the facilitator called out the three friends, gave them a blank shit each and told them to go and write. Funny right? What in God's name are they to write, I mean having heard plenty of mind blowing things from the conference, anyone would feel it is a better time to show the many that he or she heard all that the speaker was saying word for word but I notice a different attitude in one of the guys Sanchez.
Now instead of Sanchez rushing back to his place to write all that he learnt from the conference, he rather choose to be a little inquisitive to know what was demanded of him. Guest what the man told him, He said, I am not expecting you to write all I have taught you, just write one thing you would want me to do for you and I will do it for you. Now every time we follow instructions, we enjoy the benevolence of the instructor.
5. Go for excellence and nothing else
Hate plagiarism with all you've got. Excellent things attracts excellent rewards. Your reward in a way will always match the worth of the commitment you invest in what you do.
I remember one time I was contracted to decorate a funeral home, and in my mind because the pay wasn't much, I didn't pay much attention on the job to give it the worth it should, the client refused to clear up my outstanding money because she said I didn't do something good. I learnt my lessons that day and I knew that no matter the worth of money I get for a job, I should always give the best of me not minding the pay.
If everyone would practice this attitude of always giving the best not minding the pay slip, then will we go for excellence. Sub-standards can deny you future opportunities. More than often, the more excellence you give out, the more rewards and recommendations we get.
Go for excellence and make sure that you move your delivery from good to better to best.
See you at the top @eldecor
