The diary game: my Saturday school diary (22/2/2026).
Saturday morning hit differently because it wasn’t a normal school day. I woke up early morning prepared myself for 7 am test on Saturday. I snapped a quick selfie before heading out. The sun was still soft, and I was already in my “let’s get this over with” mood. My face was calm, but inside I was revising small small in my head. Saturday test vibes are not for the weak. On my way there, information was dropped in my department group chat that the lecturer is already in the hall waiting for us. I was scared had to tell the driver to move a bit fast that I'm late for test.
When I got to school, everywhere was full. Students standing in groups, some pretending not to be nervous, some actually reading their books one last time. The compound was lively and noisy, but you could still feel that test tension in the air. Everybody was acting serious… at least a little. And I realised that the lecturer was in the hall but not attending us but to year 1 so we had to wait till we're called then I and my friends looked for a nice shade to wait and revised.
This was my quiet moment. I found a spot and started revising properly before the test began. Flipping pages, going over important points. That last-minute revision always feels intense, like your brain suddenly wants to remember everything at once. While trying to revise, my friends weren't revising instead they're were disturbing with noise I had to call their attention to it that they're loud.
Finally, freedom. After the test, the whole mood changed. Me and my friends were already smiling and talking about how it went, she said she didn't write all and that the questions was a bit hard. Some people said it was easy, some said it was tricky but to me it was tricky because questions that was supposed to be normal was twisted to test our brain, I won't say I did perfect but I did very good.As we were heading home, the stress was gone and it just felt like a light, happy Saturday afternoon.
Every test comes and goes, but the memories with friends and the lessons learned always stay. And honestly, that’s the real part of school that matters.
