Regent and Deputy Regent Lead Eid al-Adha Takbiran Parade.

To welcome the arrival of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, the Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) held a takbiran parade around the eastern and western sub-districts, from Gandapura to Samalanga. The parade took place on Tuesday evening (May 26, 2026), centered at the Regent's Hall.

The parade was attended by Forkopimda officials and hundreds of Bireuen Regency Government employees, each in a number of vehicles led by the Regent and Deputy Regent.

Regent H. Mukhlis, ST, led team one, starting near the Simpang Empat traffic light on the east lane to Gandapura. Team two, led by Deputy Regent Ir. H. Razuardi, MT, traveled on the west lane to Samalanga. Both teams returned to finish at the Regent's Hall.

In his remarks, the Regent of Bireuen, H. Mukhlis, ST, stated that on this blessed night, all Muslims throughout the country will recite takbir, tahlil, and tahmid to glorify the greatness of God Almighty.

"On this occasion of Eid al-Adha, let us increase our obligatory worship and increase our other voluntary deeds. May we be among those who receive His abundant blessings," he said.

The Regent also appealed to all takbir parade participants to follow the event until the end, maintaining order, security, peace, and abstaining from anything that could harm us all.

"Specifically, I hope that no one will sell, buy, or burn firecrackers, fireworks, or similar items of any size throughout Bireuen Regency. Hopefully, the security forces will maintain order," said Regent Mukhlis.
