The Diary Game: My Weekend Diary (27/3/2026)

Hello my amazing Steemians!! ✨
A beautiful weekend to you all, how is everything going at your end? I truly hope your week went smoothly and was filled with little wins and joyful moments. As for me, I had quite an amazing and active week each day came with its own responsibilities and surprises, and honestly, today was no different.
Let me take you through how my day unfolded… 😊
I woke up this morning to such a calm and refreshing weather the kind that makes you feel grateful to be alive. It instantly lifted my mood and gave me the energy to start my day on a positive note. As usual, I began with some home chores, putting things in order and making sure the house was neat and comfortable. After that, I prepared a quick breakfast nothing too elaborate, but just enough to get me going for the day.
Once I was done eating, I decided to take a little break and relax, so I watched a few movies. It felt really nice to just sit back and unwind for a while before the day picked up again.

Later in the day, my husband reminded me that I needed to go pick up some home appliances from Jumia. Honestly, I had never been to their pickup location before, so I knew it might be a bit of an adventure. And truly, it was! Finding the place took longer than I expected because the office was quite hidden you wouldn’t even notice it was there unless you were really paying attention.
After a bit of searching and asking around, I finally located it. I spoke with the receptionist, completed my payment, and made sure to carefully check the item to confirm it wasn’t damaged during transit. Everything looked good, which was a relief!

With that done, I booked a Bolt keke to take me back home. The ride was smooth, but by the time I got home, I was already feeling a bit tired. Still, mummy duties don’t wait! I had to head straight to the kitchen to prepare lunch.

For lunch, I made palm oil rice something I had been craving for quite a while. I was really excited about it! After gathering all the ingredients and prepping everything I needed, I got to cooking.

Thankfully, it didn’t take too long, and soon enough, the delicious aroma filled the kitchen.
Finally, the food was ready! I sat down to enjoy my meal, and let me just say it was worth the wait. 😋 My son absolutely loved it too; he kept eating happily until he couldn’t anymore, which made me so glad.

After eating, we all relaxed and spent some quality time watching TV together, enjoying the calmness of the rest of the day. Moments like these simple, peaceful, and filled with family are truly the best.
And that’s how my day went!
