Good morning, good afternoon, or good evening, dear family, depending on when you receive this message. I extend my heartfelt greetings to all of you. I hope your week is beginning positively and beautifully. I wanted to take a moment to share the joys and blessings I experienced over my Sunday. My Sunday began quite early, as I woke with a grateful heart, feeling rejuvenated and ready for the day ahead. Sundays hold a special significance, as they are set aside for worship, gratitude, and fellowship. I prepared diligently for the church service, ensuring everything was ready so I wouldn’t be late. By 8 a.m., we were already at church, where the atmosphere was peaceful, joyful, and spiritually uplifting. The service in my congregation was wonderful. We worshipped God wholeheartedly, sang hymns, and listened intently to His word. There's something refreshing about starting the day in God's presence; it truly sets a positive tone for what’s to come. Everyone seemed joyful and eager, knowing we had an important event lined up later. The service concluded around 10 a.m.

As soon as the service ended, we organized ourselves and proceeded to the parish for a special reception. The event at The Presbyterian Church of Nigeria was truly remarkable, held in honor of our minister, Rev. Etukakpan. It was a joyful occasion filled with appreciation and celebration.
The turnout was impressive, with many attendees coming from various congregations and beyond. The church hall was packed with members, friends, and well-wishers. This large participation was unsurprising, given Rev. Etukakpan’s humble demeanor and dedicated service to God. His character has touched many lives, and the love and respect the congregation has for him were evident in the turnout.
The reception was powerful and well-coordinated, featuring prayers, thanksgiving songs, and encouraging words. Various groups showcased special performances, and some leaders shared how the minister has positively impacted lives, strengthened families, and contributed to the church. Hearing such testimonies was inspiring, a reminder that leading within the church is a calling that demands sacrifice and grace.
What stood out most for me was the unity among the members. We walked together from our congregation to the parish, celebrating as one family. It was a beautiful sight, with joy visible on everyone’s faces and a spirit of love permeating the atmosphere. The occasion was more than a reception; it was a celebration of service, devotion, and God’s faithfulness.

After the formalities, we enjoyed light music, refreshments, and friendly conversations. It felt like a joyful family reunion, with many mingling, laughing, and capturing memories in photos. It was a great chance to reconnect with familiar faces I hadn't seen in a while, sharing stories and thanking God for bringing us together again.
As the day drew to a close, I felt deeply fulfilled. There’s something truly special about spending a day in God’s presence among fellow believers; it brings peace and strength to the soul. I returned home feeling content, thankful, and spiritually uplifted.
Sunday truly was a blessed day for me. From the early morning service to the grand reception, every moment was significant. I am grateful to God for allowing me to witness such a beautiful occasion and for the gift of fellowship.
