The Diary Game || HOW I SPENT MY DAY: SCHOOL RUNS AND GOING TO FAMOUS URUA ETUK (Etuk Market) || 26/02/2026

Greetings to you all, I trust God that you're doing fine. It feels good to share my engagements of the day, how it went, and the things I did.

We had a morning devotion using the Presbyterian Family Altar devotional guide, thereafter I got my son ready for school. I dropped off with the bus driver and returned to the house to do other domestic duties. For the past months, I have been fully involved with kitchen exercises as my wife is heavily blessed.

I washed dishes, ensured that food was ready for the house. It makes me too busy these days, once she delivers, I will be relieved of the stress. I must appreciate women entirely, their strength is incomparable. Sometimes I get tired while running around the kitchen to prepare food. Going to market is still a challenge, so often, I send close church members to assist me.

I had lectures at 1 pm, and I went to school about that time, but the lecturer was not around. I waited for him in his office corridor for about 34 minutes. After not taking his calls, he returned from the class he had with undergraduates. Immediately he saw me, he told me “We will reschedule the class for Saturday, I have been in other classes since morning and I need some rest.

I didn't argue, just that if he had taken my calls it would have saved me the stress and the school transportation. It was like wasting time and resources, however, we also need to consider others and understand them. That was what I did.

About 2 pm, I left the school, passed through Ibom Plaza, and entered Urua Etuk to get some fresh tomatoes to use and make sauce to eat with rice.

It wasn't on a normal market day, making the usual marquee of people buying and selling reduced without congestion in any way you wish to enter and get your stuff. Fortunately, I found the barrow pusher with what I went and I bought some.

I prepared rice, using the tomatoes for sauce, at about 4:47 pm, I was done with the kitchen, and we ate before I did my studies. When my son saw me removing some books from my shelf for my studies, I went outside and rearranged the shelf to pick up his own book. That boy can be funny sometimes, trying to do everything he sees me doing and that's why I am being careful with my actions.

In all, I had a wonderful day, and I thank God it went well.
