MY DIARY GAME: HOW I SPENT MY SUNDAY 13TH FEBRUARY 2022 AT CHURCH AND COOKING VEGETABLE SOUP.

Greetings and happy weekend everyone, how is the weekend going? I trust you all having a nice time? Today has been a stressful day for me but that will be story for another day, today I wish to share how I spent my last Sunday.

My Sundays can be quite unpredictable but most of the time I'm always busy, it's always church ways for me and my family. We wake up as early as 5am to prepare for church and come back home around 2pm. My church runs three services and because my husband is a part time pastor, he's compel to stay for the three services and sometimes we had to stay as well but this particular Sunday I decided I was going to attend the second service only, while my husband was awake as early as 5am, I took my time to sleep more. Haha haha, second service starts by 9am there is no need for me to rush. I woke up around 7am and it was my daughter that woke me up, once she's awake every one must wake up as well, I figured out she was hungry so I headed to the kitchen to make her food while following the first service online. I fed her, bath her and on the TV so she can watch cartoon while I go and prepare for church. I was in the bathroom having a happy bath and just thankful to be alive and be able to go and worship my God. I wasn't time conscious and by the time I was ready it was 9am already, so now we have to hurry so we can meet up with praise and worship, I always love the worship session. When I got to church they were done with the worship session already so I just made up my mind to join the worship session in third service even though I had intention of just attending one service. I drop off my daughter at the Sunday school church and went to the main church.

It was a glorious service and the preacher spoke about faith, I learnt new things and was really determine to work on my faith level and trusting God more because their is nothing He cannot do, I left the service with so much hope for the future, after the service I went back to pick up my daughter, she was so excited to see me and I got good remark about her, I was so excited. I waited for the praise and worship session for the third service and while sitting by the Sunday school corridor, I noticed my husband coming out from the church so I signal him to come over, he came to where we sat and requested we go take photograph and we really had some beautiful pictures together. See two of the pictures below, I won't want to bore you with all our pictures.

My daughter and I left immediately after the pictures and when I got home, I did some prayers, made Marvelous food and she slept off, so I enter the kitchen to cook vegetable soup so that food will be ready before my husband return from church. In Nigeria we are fond of eating rice every Sunday but I'm gradually changing that culture in my home, I decided to cook vegetable soup and garri.

I am a big fan of a well cooked vegetable soup and I'm glad this came out great by the time I was done, my husband was back from church so it was lunch time, lunch was served and we rested for a bit. My daughter woke up and we had some mother and daughter time together.

At this time it's dawn on me that I have been busy since morning and I have not had time for myself, I promise myself to always create at least 30 minutes for myself each day, not for anything special just a time of reflection and to analysis how I was doing that day. So I left my daughter with her father and took some time but most of what I did was just to search the internet and read news. Lol at least I stayed updated. The time was running so fast and by now it's almost 7pm, I had to made dinner and also prepare Marvelous food, so she can retire to bed, she slept off after eating dinner and having her bath, I was also quite exhausted so I slept off very early as well.
