Creating awareness for Steem has become one of the things I cherish so much. I never intend going out today for promotion, I was busy at home writing some Contest when @ijelady called me on phone that she will like us to go to Ibom Tropicana Mall what3words to let poeple there know about Steemit. So, I suspended what I was doing and dress up immediately because Ibom Mall is a very big and busy place, not only that, you can meet with poeple of different races there.

I also see that place as a fertile land to get investors and good bloggers because many learned poeples are found there. I have been there, and I noticed that there are calibers of people there, that's why I didn't hesitate to join her.

On getting there, we entered the security personnel's office,@ijelady took the lead. After exchanging greetings with them, she told them that.

We are inviting poeple to join a social media platform that has the interest of there user's at heart, which is called Steemit. Noticing that, the word Steemit sounds strange to them, she told them about coins which most of them are conversant with coin, now she told them that Steem is also a tradable coin that one can invest in. She made it clear to them that one can still get the Steem coin through blogging.

They quickly made research and found out that Steem is a coin with great future. They now asked if they are to pay money before joining. So I told them that registration is free and if they are ready, we will sign them up. They told us that they want to read more about the platform, and asked us to come back by weekend. They refused taking pictures with us because of security reasons.

PROMOTING STEEMIT IN A FRUIT SHOPPING CENTER

We always utilize every opportunity to introduce Steemit to poeple around us. Now we are at shelter by Oron Road Uyo to buy some fruits. After buying the fruits, we introduced Steemit to young man selling those things. We appreciated him for being a good buissnes minded person. We now told him that there is a platform where he can write about the health benefits of those fruits he sales and get paid in dollar. After reading what was written on our flyer he said.

But I am seeing investors here, what does that mean?

We now explain to him that he can save for the future now by buying Steem coin. Investors do buy the coin and keep. Our discussion with him was interrupted by other customers, so we left our flyers to him. We will be going back to check on him and also see his mother if possible.

CONCLUSION

For the sustainability of the Steemit block chain, that's why the Steemit team came up with #club5050, club75 and club100. So, we need poeple who can buy Steem and hold it for a very long period of time. We can get those investors if we are not going out to create awareness. Even though many people are afraid and tired of investment in Nigeria due to high rate of scamming, I will not stop to tell them to invest in Steem, because with Steem, the future is now.
