Successful STEEM Promo During a Mathematics Workshop for Mathematics Teachers in Sekyere Central District 10% to promo-steem
Wow! Such an amazing experience this week. Promoting steem along side training teachers in the Nsuta District in the new ways of teaching mathematics. Teaching and steem promo is interrelated because all involve trying to convince individuals to understand the concept you are putting across.
- These two programs came off this week in the Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School premises which was organized by the second runner up in Ghana's best teacher award. Mr Antipim a mathematics teacher in Nsutaman Catholic Senior High School took 3rd place during 2019 awards and as part of the requirements, he has to train the teachers in the district as well as other districts on some of the new trends in teaching mathematics.
- In Ghana sixty percent of students don't like maths so much priority is placed on EMS for our students to develop. EMS is simply English, Maths and Science.
The program started on time with almost all the Mathematics teachers and other teachers who are into other related subject like economics that deals with some maths were in attendance. Teachers in basic schools also came. As the program got to it climax where most people were exhausted and went about to get some to quench their thirst and something to eat, teachers in steem ghana and in the same district took the opportunity to also engage them to join steem.
Initially, I was the only person and @ophoto in attendance but, arrangements were made for our country reps @oppongk to come and join us. Out of his busy schedules in his own school, he took the time to come so we could all talk to these teachers to join steem and also invest their time and resources to a venture that is worth promoting.
I won't say, it was easy because to try and convince an already spoilt mind needs a lot of hard work. Sometimes, people think promoting steem as a steemian, there's some kind of reward you will get when you bring someone to steem or you are going to take some sort of percentage from the person's earnings.
- Some of these teachers had invested in other online business which got crushed so people who didn't know us snubbed as as soon as we began to speak but later saw them asking friends about our engagement with them.
Steem is patient as well us it's users so no matter the circumstances, we are ready to assist people to experience the love and joy people are having on the steemit blockchain.
With me here is @oppongk when he arrived in his promo-steem t-shirt. I quickly changed into mind before we started talking to people.
He brought flyers to be distributed to them for free and some pens were also given to the students selected for the program. These students were also not left out because the are going to go into the world after completion and they might need special places to invest and also entertain themselves with quality contents that will shape them to become good citizens for the world. We are all citizens of one continent, what affects one country indirectly may affect all just like covid.
- So they were also taken through and with the help of some of us who are still with them, we can give them the necessary coaching to be better steemians in the not long distant future.
@delakloe with a teacher Introducing steem to him. He took his phone and checked on the website, I asked him to read the white paper to be able to understand steem. There was also the suggestion from me to take time and read post and comments from people on steem to be able to really consent to this.
- People should know and be willing before we can get the best out of these people on steem. We can do promo but you may end up catching none. So steem promo has revolved lately after my last promotions.
The oldest teacher I saw during the program known as Gogoman by his colleagues was came and he was taken through the act of blog and earn.
- Seeing the love and smile on his face shows the great work we did for ourselves and for steem.
Conclusion:
Steem has created a lot of people around us and anywhere we go, with the love from these people, we are love and accepted.
The smallest opportunity we have will be used for something profitable just us promoting steem.
