En esta creación conjugo dos movimientos artísticos cuyos nombres suenan muy parecido en el idioma inglés: el Pop Art y el Op Art, esto es “Arte Pop” y Arte Óptico”

Del primero busqué la inspiración en Andy Warhol y sus icónicas reproducciones de un mismo retrato de Marilyn Monroe. Se cuenta que el creo muchas variantes del retrato de la actriz usando solo cinco estenciles o lienzos para impresión serigráfica, uno con la fotografía, y los otros cuatro para las manchas y efectos de color, quise lograr ese efecto de múltiples capas de tinta en el diseño.

En segundo lugar, incorporo ciertos elementos de arte óptico (op art) al jugar con el logo TRX. Como por ejemplo repetirlo varias veces sobre si mismo y sobre fondos de colores complementarios. Para así generar diferentes post-imágenes del logo TRX en la retina del espectador.

Para su ejecución utilicé en la primera fase Power Point para crear 4 imágenes del logo (blanca, una en negro, en rojo y otra traslucida) y algunos círculos de colores; en una segunda fase apliqué varios filtros con PIXLR.COM en línea, luego subí la imagen a mi galería publica en DevianArt.

From the first I looked for inspiration in Andy Warhol and his iconic reproductions of the same portrait of Marilyn Monroe. For its execution I used Power Point in the first phase to create 4 images of the logo (white, one in black, one in red and another translucent) and some colored circles; in a second phase I applied several filters with PIXLR.COM online, then I uploaded the image to my public gallery on DevianArt
