8 Ways to Be a Successful Steemian

In the first post in the Beginner's Steemit Guide part One, I already mentioned that Steemit is not a 'get rich quick' scheme, like getting a sudden jackpot or just trading in a matter of hours. Steemit is a long journey. The more you deepen it, the more you work on it, that's where it will bear fruit.

The following are some success tips that you can apply if you want to grow, develop, and live long on Steemit.

Why do I say that? Because I have seen many steemians like this, there is no purpose and just joining in. Just fiery at first and then disappear without saying goodbye.

I adapted these tips from Niagahoster blogger success tips, I think the points are exactly the same considering our activities on Steemit are also blogging. So it's the same, it's just that there are a few sentences that I added.

Hopefully it can be applied, steemians...

1. Improve Writing Skills

Post articles are the main product of your Steemit blog. If you have good writing skills, the articles you make will be of high quality.

Make articles in language that is easy for lay people to understand, and don't write paragraphs that are too long. Just make a few lines but the sentence contains everything.

Keep in mind that writing skills must always be honed. It's a shame if you have a unique blog topic and useful information but can't convey it well?

2. Manage Time Well

There are so many steemians who fail to achieve the expected results due to errors in time management.

You might ask: “When is the best time to post?”

Basically, non-binding writing activities must be carried out at a certain time. However, the sheer number of things to do makes timing important.

Divide your time as much as possible, just a few hours but focus. So, you can know when it's time to plan content, gather ideas, and write articles.

3. Keep Learning New Things

Blog visitors not only come to get useful information, but also new information.

So, if you want to get an increasing number of visitors, always learn new things. That way, you can continue to create unique content that is interesting to read.

You can learn new things by doing your own experiments or reading from books or other official sources. Don't just dwell on one point, because it will be difficult for us to thrive.

4. Communicate Well

Mistakes in building communication with steemian can be an obstacle in how to become a successful blogger.

Professional steemians who already have high flying hours know this so they always try to improve their communication efforts with readers.

Communication as a steemian with the main audience is done through the post comment column. Although there can also be questions submitted through the Discord application or social media accounts.

Comment politely, reply in easy-to-understand language. And try to reply to all comments that come into your notifications, naturally.

5. Build an Extensive Network

You may be able to create your own content. However, to develop a reputation, collaborating with other parties can be a fairly effective strategy, one of which may be by joining the community and collaborating with them.

Not only that, you can also get useful information in the form of solutions to steemit problems that you encounter.

6. Stay Productive

The view of the Steemit blog by default will display the latest posts above. If visitors only see old posts, the impression that arises is that your blog is not managed properly.

Therefore, be productive and update your blog regularly.

Of course, being a productive steemian is not easy. Especially, for new steemians. Fortunately, there are various ways to become a productive blogger.

Among them is creating a post template so that your post is more organized and the flow of the discussion is clear.

Then maximize our time management, make post management. List the ideas that you want to make an article for and then plan when you will post it.

7. Always Creative

One of the reasons why a steemian can be known to many people is useful information, which is not found on other blogs. So, being a creative steemian will help the success of your reputation.

You will be known by people because of that creativity. Other creativity can be shown in several ways, such as creating new information from another point of view that people have never thought of.

Be creative, make something unique, useful, and different from the others. When everyone makes the same thing without there is significant traffic, that's where your creativity must be raised so that it will get more attention.

8. Be consistent

Having consistency is the main secret to success on Steemit. The reason is that success takes time. The 7 tips above will be useless if you are not consistent.

For beginner steemian, this is not easy. After struggling to make posts and only getting a few votes and comments can certainly be demoralizing and frustrating. Not infrequently, most of the beginner steemian, do not want to continue the process.

Even though this success can only be achieved if you stick to the plan you made and carry out the plan until it succeeds.

Here are some tips to be consistent in making posts on Steemit:

• Start with a small goal. Setting a high target at the beginning of the post is not a good idea. Because, if you don't get it, you might be bored and disappointed. It's best to start with realistic targets. Then slowly increase the target. This target can be the topic of the posts written, the number of words you write, the number of posts every day, every week.
• Schedule posting. If your posting schedule is once a day, then do it according to the plan. This means, even if you have completed 2-3 content, still publish according to the original plan. other content can be for stock next day.
• Create a writing habit. Doing activities regularly until it becomes a habit will certainly be easier to implement. The habit of writing for the steemit blog is no exception. If you have enjoyed the content creation steps, this will no longer be a burden to your life.
• Measure results regularly. One of the things that keeps you motivated to create content is when you achieve results. Therefore, measure the results of what you have done. For example, whether your daily word count target was met, or whether your monthly visitor count target was as desired.
