Greetings everyone,

Today I had the pleasure of interacting with the females of our ghanaian populace here on steemit. Gradually, we are working to bring the old steemians back on board while we work on recruiting new ones in our locality. It is quite unfortunate that as it stands now, females appear to be left out and the ecosystem is being dominated by males. I am therefore excited to see the @magcarnie's role in bringing these females on board.

The seminar was about "Reaching out to female steemians : Becoming a great investor on steemit". I was glad to set the ball rolling by spelling out what an investor means and who can be an investor on steemit. This is because most of our steemians are of the view that if you don't have adequate funds to purchase steem on an exchange, you cannot be an investor.

However, we should also consider the person who invests adequate time to improve the blockchain by creating valuable content, powering up their earnings and also guiding newbies.

The amount of time you invest on steemit is a reflection of how serious you are as a steemian and your vision of the future. if you invest more time in the ecosystem, you are able to learn the nitty-gritties of it and can become great at it. Otherwise, you would simply be another blogger who is simply going with the flow.

At this point, the floor was opened to the ladies who were present to present their thoughts on what they had learnt so far and any contributions they would like to add is also welcome.

Another thing we highlighted was the fact that we must strive to save so that we can always buy some steem and power up. This can be done through periodic power ups. That way, you can always rest assure that we have some form of support for ourselves and would not necessarily have to rely on whales for support on our posts.

I am very happy to see the progress of our ladies on the platform especially the inactive accounts that are being revived. Hopefully, we can see more females joining soon through the works of our dedicated steemian, @magcarnie.

I would also like to acknowledge the presence of @oppongk, @nattybongo, @collinz, @tymes2, @chenty, @tymes2 and @dananga, @gladys and @rubilu123 during our meetup. Their presence was necessary to the success of this seminar.
