Attending the Steemians Meet Up with CR and the Indonesian Curator Team

In this post I want to share a story about the activities I did yesterday afternoon. Yesterday on Friday, May 13, 2022, I attended the Meet Up Steemian Indonesia event. This Meet Up event was held at Ghathaf Coffee Premium which is located at the oil filling station (SPBU PERTAMINA) Teupin Punti, North Aceh.

This cafe has an outdoor area, so this event is held in an outdoor area. This event is called Meet Up Steemian with Country Representatives and the Indonesian Curator Team. The theme raised in this meet up is "Learning To Be Better".

This event is the initiation of @anroja, @heriadi, and @radjasalman as CR Indonesia. In its implementation, they also collaborate with a number of communities such as Steem Entrepreneurs, Steem For Better Life, Steem SEA, and Hot News Community. Also invited to this meeting as a speaker is the Indonesian Curator Team, which is tasked with providing curation with SC05-SC09 accounts.

I went to the event location with @alvin.steem, @pojan and @muhajir169. At the event location, we contacted @ikmalhariamuna to pick us up at the parking area. Arriving at the location, the event has started and the speaker is educating the participants.

This event was attended by more than a hundred Steemit users from various districts in Aceh, specifically Steemit users from the Lhokseumawe City and North Aceh areas. The event which was attended by Steemians from various circles was carried out lively and successfully. At this meeting I also met several New Comers.

In addition, I also met old Steemians who are still active on the platform. We sit back and chat and share experiences and education about the Steemit Platform. This event is a very extraordinary event, because we can meet directly with Steemit users.

I think this event is quite interesting, because it was conceptualized to provide education, empowerment and development for Steemit users. This event has succeeded in collaborating with a number of communities founded by Indonesian users. But unfortunately, the Steem-Database community was not invited to collaborate 😂, I was only invited as a participant, we are happy to attend the event.

Speakers from the SC05-09 Curator Team presented their roles and duties as a curation team. They also provide guidance on the rules for getting curated from a curator team project. The participants seemed enthusiastic about listening to the explanation from the curator team.

After the presentation from the speaker, a discussion session was also opened to provide space for every steemit user to exchange ideas and ask questions about the problems they face on the Steemit platform. The question and answer session became an opportunity for participants to ask questions directly to the great people who were present at this event. In general, the Curator and CR Team provide explanations about the type of content, how to write, the use of relevant tagging, and club status.

I feel very happy to be able to attend this event, here I can meet quite great people. People who have a long-term mission to thrive on Steemit. I can meet Steemit users from various backgrounds, talk about routines, business, jobs, and share experiences about crypto investing.

Thanks to the CR Team for inviting us to this wonderful event. In future events, I hope that the Steem-Database community can be involved in collaborating on various events in Indonesia. Hopefully what has been done yesterday can provide benefits for everyone who has attended this event as well as for the advancement of the steem economy in the future.
