spreading the steemit gospel in garu/10-08-21

Hello fellow promoters of the future of social media; steemit. I bring you greetings from garu in the upper east region of Ghana. One is highly fortunate to have heard about steemit and also favored to have an account. For this reason, we gathered as a steemit club to spread the gospel of steemit those who are capable of writing and ignorant of steemit where they can post about anything; travel, science, what they desire and earn by peoples up votes. we met at @beniba's ice cream shop but we were only three that made it, myself, @akuoli and @beniba.

Unfortunately, @akuoli had an emergency to attend to but @beniba and I carried on with the work.
We went around spreading the news about people who we know are somewhat educated and write and read because what makes a steemian is the resilience to writing and reading. we met a friend called Michael and preached to him and he said he would visit @beniba for him to be guided in creating an account.

We also went to a friend who is an attendant in a drug store. His keenness to know more was astonishing and he said he would contact one of us to help him create account.

We met another friend in town and also stopped her to give her a privilege of introducing steemit to her and she was also really keen about it.

After that we went back to @beniba's ice cream shop from the hectic work and realized people had gathered and playing ludu game.

We took advantage of that by joining them to play. When people had gathered a bit more, we shared with them about the steemit ecosystem.
I was about leaving when @beniba suggested we post some of the flyers at vantage points with our phone numbers so that people could call and know more. We did exactly that starting from @benibas ice cream shop.

I must admit that it was a wonderful experience especially because of the way we caught the attention of the people during the ludu game play. I must admit that I have never had an audience that were as curios as those who were playing the game. We are looking forward to hearing from those who wanted assistance in creating accounts and another that many of us would gather to spread steemit.
