Have you ever witnessed or experienced something that changed the way you think about human behavior?

Yes, I have witnessed and experienced something that changed the way I think about human behavior. When I was in my late twenties, my friend's wife committed suicide. After her death, I started to see people differently. It made me realize that humans are capable of terrible things, in the face of tough challenges and difficult circumstances.
Since then, I've become especially interested in how different people react to difficult situations. Sometimes I see patterns in the way certain people handle adversity, and that's fascinating to me.
Have you observed the behavior of people grieving the loss of a loved one?
What about the behavior of sports people. Some sports teams perform better under pressure than others, and it's partly due to the way their members react to setbacks. For instance, some athletes may maintain their composure during a tough competition, while others crumble.
People closer to you would offer better examples. Have you ever been in difficult situations, financial or otherwise, only to be abandoned or supported by your friends or family members? What did you learn from such experience?
Do you have any favorite examples of how different people handle difficult situations?
Hay personas de pueden manejar sus emociones mejor que otros.
Certainly. Isn't that axiomatic?
I have been through very difficult situations in life. My courage, physical strength (yes, I am an athlete too), and devotion in God have helped me face and overcome all those difficult situations.
