It is good to hear that parents go for someone with morals but can this be measured? Does it happen often that girls not married early get pregnant? To me life is life and if it's a gift the only one to blame is the guy who didn't kept his pants closed and not matter what I would find him but on the other hand no way I would force a marriage because lousy bastards will never be a great partner or father.
This reminds me of a region in the Netherlands where it was normal (they were religious) to only get married if the girl was pregnant so the guy was sure (and she too) that they wouldn't remain without children.
Of course, the woman was blamed even if she got pregnant from someone else because the man was the reason.
