The Diarygame Thursday 7th November 2024: "My Convocation Ceremony"
Dear Diary,
I am delighted to write you and share my happiness with you because we're a family. The 7th of November 2024 was the most memorable day for me, a long-awaited day. A day that seemed would never come, from one obstacle to another, and Thank Goodness I never gave up, My Convocation Ceremony Day finally came, a day I officially became a graduate. Let me tell you how the day went.
IN THE MORNING
I woke up very early and began to prepare; I bathed my daughter and myself, and afterward, I went and had my face made up. We were set for the occasion but we had a problem, our car became faulty. @goodybest and her husband offered to help, and they came and picked us up from our house to the venue; thanks to her for her kind gesture.
On arriving at the venue of the Convocation, I took a few pictures in the Gown with my husband, daughter and goodybest, before moving into the ceremonial hall.
At about 9:30 AM, we, the graduant, matched into the hall. The national anthem was sung for the occasion to begin. The moderator of the occasion began to introduce dignitaries, the professors, and the vice-chancellor of the university community.
A brief history of the university was given. It was formally the College of Education, the University of Calabar affiliate before it officially became the new University of Uyo, Nigeria. Various professors from different faculties gave speeches to congratulate us.
When the convocation was over, I took pictures with my coursemates. This was a happy moment for us!

IN THE AFTERNOON
Goodybest's husband hosted us for lunch. I never expected the kind gesture, I was so happy. We went to the best restaurant that cooks the most delicious delicacies in the city of Uyo. I ordered my favorite, the fisherman's soup, and it was yummy.
At the restaurant, I received a call from my Aunt, who had contributed to my success. She invited me and my younger sister, who convocated with me, to her house for pictures with her. When I finished eating, my husband drove us to my Aunt's.
My Aunt warmly welcomed us, and she gave us congratulatory packages. Then we took some pictures of her, lovely and memorable pictures.

IN THE EVENING
I needed to go celebrate with my parents; they could not come to the venue because my Dad was sick. We drove to Abak Local Government Area, where my parents lived, to see them. My parents were thrilled to have us around, I could sense the happiness on their faces.
My sister and I took pictures with my parents, memorable pictures.
We returned home to Uyo, the capital city. When we got home, we bathed and had dinner.
The day was my day, a day for celebration And I am grateful to my husband, daughter, Aunt, parents, and goodybest and her husband who made the day special and memorable for me.
Thank you very much, @goodybest, for the support.
