The Diary Game: Another Disappointed Day In School (02/02/2026)

Going to school today which is money was a total waste of time, like, nothing really happened, all the classes were being cancelled and I was thinking why I had to even leave my house and go to school at the same time, it was funny anyways. I got to school and everywhere was too dry for my liking, I was beginning to question myself if I didn't get to hear that there will be no school today and yet still went?

But I didn't even hear of such and so the decision to go to school today. I just walked to an empty class and then I sat down there and rest because I knew from there, I will be going back home or from there I will go to the playground.

That was how I slept off in that class, thank God my phone was in my pocket before bad boys comes to take it. When I woke up from sleep in that class, I called my friend to know where he was and he told me he was at the playground and so I told him I will come around.

I didn't go there immediately, so i stayed in the class and did my assignment because I had a term paper which I needed to submit on Wednesday, I was doing the summary for it and getting it ready for printing. When I got ready to print the term paper, I went to the convo park to see if the guy that does printing for me had come but unfortunately, he didn't come so I left there and went to the play ground, while others were playing football, others were playing table tennis, I stayed at the table tennis side because there was much dust at the football pitch.

I am not a table tennis fan so the whole thing was boring, I left there to go back home as it was late in the day and I needed to eat else my stomach would begin to rumble.

When I got to the house, I entered and dropped my bag then as I was stepping outside to go and buy beans so that I will come and cook, my neighbor's mum came and told me if I had what to eat at the moment, I told her I was even about stepping out to buy the foodstuffs and she told me to pocket the money, she brought banga stew with rice and one bunch of plantain, I almost went crazy, I am so happy that God brought me to this compound because everybody here are just friendly and homely.

When I finished eating, that is how I climbed bed and went to sleep. Immediately I woke up, I checked the time and I had missed the class for today on steemit, I was so angry at myself for not setting alarm. I left the house and went to go outside so I will be able to write.
