# The Diary Game (25 January 2026)– A Long Day Between Duty, Faith, and Responsibility 👨⚕️
I'm @drsumon, From Bangladesh."
Assalamu Alaikum.
Life stays busy, but those few minutes before the world wakes up feel different.
After prayer I got ready for hospital duty, checked some notes quickly, and had a light breakfast. Nothing special, just preparation for another working day.
The hospital hours were busy, as usual. Patients kept coming. Reports, decisions, explanations—everything mixed together. Some patients needed urgent care, some only needed assurance.
I have seen that sometimes listening is more important than speaking. Time moved fast without me even noticing.
By afternoon I was feeling tired. My body felt heavy, but mentally I had to stay focused. In this profession, even when you are exhausted, your responsibility does not pause.I handled a few family and personal responsibilities later in the evening. Even a brief pause was beneficial, but there wasn't enough time for adequate recuperation.
Small pauses matter a lot when work pressure is constant.
Now night duty is ahead. Night shifts are always challenging. Sleep gets disturbed, emergencies can happen anytime, and alertness becomes difficult. Still, this is part of being a doctor. The hardest part is staying calm and clear-headed when tiredness tries to take over.
Before starting night duty, I felt the need to write this down.
Today reminded me that faith gives strength, discipline keeps life moving, and serving people gives meaning to every tiring day. Despite everything, I feel grateful.
May Allah accept our efforts and keep our intentions pure.
