Hello fellow steemians, we are in the 3rd week of season 2 of the amazing steemit Engagement challenge. This is an amazing opportunity for us to keep interacting and getting membership from other communities. Today I join the rest of my compatriots steemians to participate in an interesting contest launched by the Steem for Better life, an amazing platform geared not only towards the steemit platform but towards charity and today is an opportunity for us to be part.

Charity is an important part of our day to day lives. It is the act of giving willfully and lovingly to others. I always don’t look at it as only giving to the poor, but as an act of generally giving. So to me, Charity is giving one’s time, money, efforts to make another person smile or comfortable. That is why I was very impress and happy when I heard of the name of this project. The World Smile project. It is important for us to be able to put a smile on the faces of person we meet every day. Show them kind gesture and make them smile.
The world smile project is a great initiative that was launched by the steem for better life on steemit. But the project is not all about being on steemit. It is a project that tries to increase its outreach by extending a hand of love and fellowship to people of all race and tribe and put a smile on their faces.For my contribution on the World smile project, I heard about the project for the first just as the Steemit Engagement challenge started so I have not contributed much to the project.
However, as I earlier mentioned, the world smile project is mostly about showing love and support to the world, putting a smile on the faces of people in the world.
Currently my country is faced with the Anglophone crisis. This crisis have affected the people of my region. The number of internally displaced persons are on a constant rice and people are suffering.
I work with as a volunteer start up local NGO called Reconciliation and Development association to show love to the world. We organized projects that help to provide funding for vulnerable persons in the crisis area. I headed the Grant writing department and beautiful projects were written.
MY PROPOSAL ABOUT THE WORLD SMILE PROJECT
From what i know, the World Smile Project is already in other countries and doing very well. Below are my proposals.
- Increase Sensitisation about the project. I think we more Sensitisation about the project in other communities first on Steemit and then out of steemit. This will increase the number of people gearing towards.
- I will also propose that a branch be launched in my country Cameroon. It will go along way to help internally displaced persons due to the ongoing Anglophone crisis.
