My Day (Sunday, May 14th 2023): Weekend In the office

The alarm I set was 5.15 am, I intentionally set it that way, because I need some time to wake up. And this Sunday morning usually I woke up late to enjoy my free time, but today I woke up earlier than the alarm rang into my ears. 5.10 am to be precise because the first thing I check is my mobile phone.

Got up from the mattress and went directly to the bathroom and wash my face, and 10 minutes later, I opened my laptop to check the updated software. I need to get it ready by early morning because the client of my company needs a specific document at about 7 on Sunday morning. Thank God, the laptop was updated and ready to use. Just need 10 minutes to prepare the document and sent it out.

Back to the kitchen and found nothing for breakfast so then I walk a bit to the nearest shop to buy something that can be my breakfast and walked back to the office. Enjoying my breakfast while checking the Crypto market and I found that most of the Cryptos were still going down happily, then I choose to read the book I had in my drawer.

I read the book for about 45 minutes and start to clean up my office, sweeping and mopping the floor washing the dirty dish, and tidying up the desk and papers while listening to my favorite music on Spotify. It is a rare thing I can do, I love music but mostly the old school one. I initiate to relax a bit because I know I have to finish a bunch of documents today as it was the last day for me. Monday will be a very busy day and another task has already been waiting.

My desk is tidy, the floor is clean and I think to go somewhere to relax before lunch, but lunch that I cooked myself. I wanted to go to (Gua Jepang Hill Top) the cave left by the Japanese after World War II. I went there not to see the cave, because every time I go to such places I hear dying cries from deep in my head, it is not a mystical thing, but it is about what I can imagine how miserable life of the people who dig the cave and most of them die during the war. I just came there to enjoy the view of Lhokseumawe City from the high.

I get myself ready and changed, I rode the motorbike to the west of Lhokseumawe city to the Gua Jepang Hill Top, I like the place because I can see the wide view of Lhokseumawe from the high. The place is about 10 minutes rides from my place. It is quite an interesting place to visit, but the only thing that bother us when visiting the place is the expensive parking fee, it was about 5 steem (IDR 15,000).

At about 1:15 pm, I return to the office and started to finish the document that I need to send on Monday morning before 8:00 am. I spent about 6 hours finalizing a bunch of documents and converting those into PDF files before sending them to the client for Monday morning evaluation meeting.

I went to the nearest coffee shop to have a bit of R&R (Rest and Relax), while using my private connection and sending the document, Suddenly, the heavy rain just fell down from the night sky.

But the good news was the mobile network was working properly and all those documents were sent without any problem. I was waiting for the rain to be stopped by reading the news and scrolling youtube.

I enjoy my day even though it is not easy to be away from home on the weekend while most people having quality time with family and friends. It's okay, I have next weekend hopefully!
