Yes finally the account can be taken back, and it is good news. since they don't discover the identity, nothing can be done by the steemit team. What I have learned so far is the thief will not be able to creak the account if there is a trace of the keys left behind on some old third-party app. It happens mostly for the dormant accounts, while the active accounts sometimes click on phishing links.
My accounts were emptied twice perhaps three times. I believe the last time was while voting for a witness. It easily happens since witnesses promote themselves. Next to that a slow wifi is good for extra problems too.
Passwirds, sites not loading, strange messages and so on. Better don't ask how many times I thought it was my device (reinstalled it) while it turned out to be a site or the slooow wifi.

Hi there...I was quite busy with things up here, how is yours, I hope you enjoy your reading day
I had a bit of a painful day, packed some things and because of the weather (bad) an easier day. I try to get some extra rest. Sunday I leave with the youngest. She'll stay with her sister for 6 months to work in a hotel.
Once back I go empty clean the house as much as possible.
Will you leave or busy with the next project?
Take some good rest while you can, I am not going anywhere in short, but will focus at home spending time with my little princess and making some earn on steemit.
I have applied for next project (job), and am waiting for it and if not, most probably I will arrange solo tracking to my "home" for a week or two
