The Power Outage That Forced Me Out
I woke up in a sweat to find the electricity had been switched off for some recalibration work - I had overlooked the notice.
I couldn't open the fridge, let alone boil water for my cup noodles.
My rechargeable Mr. Dustbin was still humming along, but there's nothing edible inside.
Reluctantly, and completely unplanned, I had to walk to the mall for a comforting brunch of my favorite Ayam Penyet rice (smashed fried chicken).
There's Pop Mart. No way I would go near that shop; I can't afford to buy something without knowing what's in the box.
I went stationery shopping instead, which is extraordinary in this digital age.
At least the Steemit community is a part-medieval, part-high-tech place that appreciates handwritten signs for proof of existence in writing entries.
It's too noisy here; I'm much more comfortable in a cat cafe with cats than I am with humans.
Got a coffee to go and quickly got my butt home, with only a book to keep me company until they finally reconnected the power after seven long hours.

Yeah, I guess I 'talked' too much with the text. I regretted it the moment I hit 'post'.
I don't want to risk the food inside gets warm and spoil. What's more, I still couldn't cook or reheat anything.

You are right. It shouldn't be an issue to open once or twice. I just can't trust the management to get it back on in time.
I tried the key, it says invalid. Sigh
I had the same yesterday. I tried over one hour and it kept saying my active key wasn't valid. It's not the first time. I had it with my .pal account too. I believe it has to do with the fenster where the oasswird is filled out.
