My Momentous Moments in 2024.

It's great to see December, the last month of the year 2024. Usually, whenever we enter into a new year, it usually comes with uncertainty, because you can only plan while God is the one who brings our wishes to fruition.

Imagine how we rolled from the beginning of the year, transiting from happy, exciting, annoying, joyous and some of us even sad moments. In all these, we are alive to recount those moments. It is worth thanking God because it is only the living who can remember a thing and run back to memory lane.

I appreciate lady @goodybest for this contest that has and will enable us reminisce on the events of our lives in the year 2024.

I won't just define a moment, but I want to define life's moment, because a moment is a period, season or a significant time in one's life which has in one way or the other affected the person's life either positively or negatively.

A moment in a person's life can be a moment of joy or sadness, depending on the happening. It could be a period of celebrating a new marriage, a new child, building or dedicating a new house or car, gaining employment or promotion at work, graduation. The list is endless. A moment can be on a sad note, maybe losing a loved one, which our prayer is that we recount only happy moments.

• For this year, it started with my bestie's marriage. I had to travel down to the village for my childhood bestie's marriage. It was a defining moment because it was the time we had been waiting for. After I got married, she asked me to pray that her own time would come, and I assured her that it would come at the right time.

• The next one is the inauguration of our headquarters church. Before then, we used to travel to another town for a church program but this year, precisely September, the church was brought closer to us instead of travelling a long distance to worship.

• Another moment this year is having to celebrate with my sister and friend who happens to be my choir member, on her phD graduation. You'll wonder how or why that is a moment in my life to recount. That made a great impact on my life because that made me begin to think about myself, because I got inspired by seeing young girls, ladies and women who graduated with PhD and yet I'm still sitting tight for a decade with just a first degree and giving up on my Masters programs on two occasions.

• The most amazing one is attending one of the biggest Steemit gatherings in Nigeria. I don't know about anywhere else. It was a national meetup where all steemians from different locations finally gathered in the city of Uyo, getting to see ourselves physically. It was an amazing time to meet some of my virtual friends physically.

In all the moments, it was joyful, exciting and that of the PhD graduation of my church member was inspiring and overwhelming, getting me to think about my academic pursuit. I also was happy because having one of our headquarters closer will enhance my spiritual life and service to God compared to the distance place of worship.

Like I've expressed earlier, the event of the graduation and meeting those big wigs on Steemit in Steem4Nigeria sharing their success stories inspired me differently, which made me take certain decisions.

1. Plans to further my education

2. Determined to be successful on Steemit, achieving my 1st dolphin soon.

3. Enhancement of spiritual growth and deeper worship to God

Each of the moments matters a lot to me. If not, they wouldn't have been mentioned.

Most times, when people get here as a consequence, their thoughts quickly have a negative impact. On my side, on the moments I've had this year, only the positive impact. As it has motivated and enhanced inner desires, prompting enthusiasm and deep feelings of happiness and gladness.

Just like I've mentioned above, I'd love to state that the moments I've witnessed were:

1. Plans to further my education

2. Determined to be successful on Steemit, achieving my 1st dolphin soon.

3. Enhancement of spiritual growth and deeper worship to God

I'm certainly grateful to look back and realise that there were moments that changed my thoughts, shaped my life and directing my thoughts towards self realization and actualization. I'll say that some moments are worth it, yes!
