Let the government areest this now to avoid subsequent issues. I remembered when this happened in the southern part of Nigeria cew years ago many loss their lives and those who loss their properties struggle to rise again.

My candid suggestion, apart from those in the riverine areas, while building, town planners should note and map out erosion track as a danger zone to build. Once we build and block the water ways, it will look other ways which may result to catastrophic damage as this.
