I like the idea of Communities. We at Dream Steem see ourselves as a friendly and open bunch, which, sadly... is dying out. We have a clear focus – fiction writing – yet day in, day out, non-fiction pieces are being published. One of the few rules is that the official language is English, but even long-serving Steemians with moderation experience themselves couldn’t care less about such trifles. I’ve had enough of this rubbish.
There are story, fiction, tale writers present. I struggled with the same. What I call a story (fiction/tale) others come up with their personal life, a type of diarygame.
Within CCC everyone publishes in English everyone and if they write in a different language they should add a translation. It works, meaning being harsh/strict is the only way.
I remember I once asked after #wewrite why all of a sudden the language of your community was no longer English. I never understood why that happened overnight.
By the way, I do believe that if someone with limited electricity, 23 hours or 5 days without, same for money to buy WiFi, like @almaguer in Cuba can translate others can to.
So write yourself and post in your community and simply make clear what it stands for, what the language is and a story plus warn and mute those who do not stick to the rules.
There are plenty of other communities to post whatever people like next to the own blog.
I still find it a pity rubbish cannot be deleted but you can mute so use it. This is what I do.

At least I make use of the disadvantages I have. I could simply collapse in a corner of the supermarket and turn to stone. A symbolic statue. But I suppose that's not an option for me. I think that for as long as I can remember, everything has been difficult; there haven't been any easy times. Even the internet arrived in my country 35 years after the rest of the world was using it, and that didn't mean ordinary people had access. Endless years passed; it was even forbidden to own a cell phone. When they were finally allowed, telephone service was by far the most expensive in the world. More than a dollar a minute. And both the caller and the receiver paid the same. It cost them the same. The internet is a phenomenon of roughly five years. It's still the most expensive and worst in the world. P.S.: Currently, with a salary of 2700 divided by the 670-peso dollar exchange rate, you'd be earning about 4 dollars a month. There are data plans for 12,000 Cuban pesos. 6GB of data.
I admire you not only for your talent as a writer, painter, and teacher, but above all for your strength in enduring so many of life's hardships. I have hope that everything can change. I believe we deserve a break from "normal life." Hugs.

The system you currently have for WiFi and phones, including both laying: caller and receiver we had too. Providers were free to ask what they liked.
A mobile phone bill of 500 euros per month 10+ years ago is ridiculous.
Till today I rarely call. This year zero times.
I rather wait three hours in a chat or six weeks for a reply on my email instead of making a call and being ripped off.
Certainly, communities set their own rules and try to ensure that users who come to post there adhere to them. However, many people don't bother to read the rules and just start posting. Therefore, the community administrator or moderators, if there are any, have to issue warnings about this, and it's not easy. What you say about the limitations of electricity and internet connection is a real issue, especially in countries experiencing political crises, weather problems, earthquakes, or war. These aren't exactly favorable times for anyone, but the platform could become an "escape" to find the much-needed peace of mind we all crave.
Ciertamente, las comunidades ponen sus reglas y tratan de que los usuarios que allí llegan para postear se ajusten a estas. Sin embargo, hay mucha gente que no se detiene a leer las normas y se lanzan a postear. De manera que el administrador de la comunidad o los moderadores, si los hay, deben hacer llamados de atención al respecto, y esto no es fácil. Lo que dices sobre las limitaciones de luz eléctrica y de conexión de internet es un hecho real, sobre todo en países donde hay crisis políticas, problemas climatológicos, terremotos o donde hay guerra. Realmente, no son estos momentos favorables para nadie, pero la plataforma pudiera convertirse en una "escape" para hallar la anhelada paz mental que necesitamos.
Desde que tengo memoria, siempre he tenido problemas con la lentitud de Internet. Recuerdo que hice un comentario al respecto —esto fue aún antes del hard fork— y entonces recibí una respuesta de otro escritor independiente que vive en Estados Unidos y que también tenía una conexión a Internet terriblemente lenta. La conexión a Internet más rápida que he tenido nunca fue en los años 90, cuando todavía tenía que conectarme a través de la línea telefónica, imagínate.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve had to put up with slow internet. I remember making a comment about this, this was before the hard fork, and then I got a reply from another freewriter who lives in America and also had excruciatingly slow internet. The fastest internet I’ve ever had was back in the 1990s, when I still had to dial in via the telephone, imagine that.
I decided to sign up for a private internet service because it was impossible to work with a public connection. It's really helped me be more active on the platform. Now the problem is the electricity service, which is terrible.

I occasionally posted in the Dream Steem community, and I know the effort you put into organizing contests with keywords and book-related themes. But, unfortunately, the effort required to write a good work of fiction isn't the same as writing a "diary," so most people opted for the latter; I did too, since diaries often received more financial rewards than a short story that kept me up not just for one day, but for several. So, I, who am not a big fan of the easy way out, watched many users grow up lacking creativity, while I continued trying to make this Steem world a place for dreaming. Best regards.
Those days of the diaries passed. That SC team doesn't exist since months or is it years by now? And even if you write such a post about your day a more interesting/attractive/catching title could be used.
