Lesson 7: Reward Percentage for Authors, Curators and Beneficiaries

Dear Steemian...

Today I continue the seventh lesson by raising the topic of Reward Percentage for authors for each post they release. I wrote this post as a form of information to newcomers about the rewards they get.

Some time ago I received several questions from steemian and I have given answers directly because they are Indonesian steemian who live close to me, he asked "What is the reward distribution system for the posts he wrote.

For example, a post looks like $108.27 but when claiming a reward the amount changes if calculated in $, initially I gave a simple answer that the reward amount in the form of $ is the reward obtained from a post which is assumed to be equivalent to $, but the reward can change according to the price Steem market and changes can occur every second.

Posts with 100% Power Up and Set 25% beneficiaries

In this post I will give a simple example of rewards from posts which are divided into several parts:

1. Authors: Authors will get 37.50% of the total payout amount
2. Curators: Will get 40.38% of the total payout
3. Beneficiaries: will get 12.50% of the payout.

The percentage number above is a post with a payout of 25% to @null with a Power Up of 100%, meaning that when a post sets the payout to null as a form of support for burnsteem it will get a payout portion of 12.5% or 50% of the specified 25% payout to null.

In this case, if a post gets a total reward of 76,836$, then:

Beneficiaries	9.605$	12.50%	38.091SP
Curators	35.451$	46.14%	140.598SP
Returned	0.460$	9.61%	-

Posts with 50% SBD and 50% SP

In the second part I want to display the reward percentage for posts in the Posts with 50% SBD and 50% SP category, I gave the example of one post with a Total Payout of 314,039$

Pay attention to the table below:

Payout	$	%	SP
Author	157.020$	50.00%	622.736SP
Curators	132.614$	42.23%	525.942SP
Returned	24.406$	7.77%

The table above shows that 50% of the post reward goes to the author, while the curator gets 42.23% and the remaining 7.77% is returned.

From the two examples above, it can be used as a reference regarding the percentage of rewards obtained for both curators, authors and returned rewards, so that steemians can choose the type of advanced settings for their posts.
